// who is behind the keyboard

The short version

I build the backend and everything around it: APIs, realtime, integrations with third-party services and the servers it all runs on. What I enjoy most is wiring together things that were never meant to talk to each other, from a GPS tracker over raw TCP to an electronic lock behind a REST API.

These days I also lead a small team, keep a few clients' domains and servers online, and use AI-assisted workflows daily to move faster without cutting corners on quality.

  • Tech lead on Whole Bible Community at Higher Honduras: web, mobile and the video pipeline behind it.
  • Also cooking up something new at jaw9.dev. Stay tuned. 🍳
  • Sharpening my English every day with US teams, and my Rust 🦀 on the side.
